Job Description:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Request Assessment and Implementation: Evaluate, prioritize, and implement ISE-related requests to ensure smooth and efficient network operations.
• Identify issues and areas for improvement to enhance system performance and security.
• Perform recommended and agreed-upon clean-up activities.
• Optimize configurations and processes to maintain a healthy network environment.
• Ensure timely resolution of any critical issues that arise.

Lead the project:

• Generate reports of different aspects and technologies related with Cisco ISE and the project.
• Lead or participate in kick off calls with customers in many different time zones.
• Review, coordinate and apply the configuration during scheduled changes.
• Help establish cycles and timelines for implementing ISE-managed devices.
• Participate/Provide support to the on-call team during eventual after-hours as needed and on next day after implementation activities.

Requirements

• 802.1x knowledge and its many implementations
• Experience with IDM and NAC solutions(Clearpass, FortiNAC, Forescout) preferable Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) deployment
• Knowledge in Cisco Switch configurations and management
• Experienced with Cisco Digital Network Architecture Center (DNAC)
• Solid understanding of network security principles and practices
• Experience in assessing network environments and connected endpoints
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience troubleshooting NAC reported issues
• Knowledge of programming languages and API use to automate tasks and collect data will be a plus
